sir:
This office has been advised by the Jananese Postal Administration that our dispatch of closed mails from Manila to Nagasaki, Japan, on August 12, 1916 (Dispatch No. 93), by the s.8. "YUENSANG", via Hongkong, consisting of two bags of ordinary mail and seventy registered articles, was opened while in transit through Hongkong and that registered parcel No. 57931, mailed by Santos & Jahrling at Manila, addressed to Bergmann Co., Yokohama, Japan, which was included therein, is being held by the British Censor at Hongkong.
